One of the most rewarding parts of my experience at PSUT was the opportunity to serve and support others. Through my involvement with the Community Service Office and as President of the Student Council, I had the privilege of working alongside students, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners to create initiatives that made a meaningful impact. These experiences taught me that leadership is not about titles, but about empowering others, bringing people together, and helping those around you succeed. PSUT fostered a culture of service, collaboration, and initiative that encouraged me to give back to my community while developing the skills and confidence to lead. The lessons I learned through helping others have become some of the most valuable and lasting parts of my university journey. When I joined Princess Sumaya University for Technology five years ago, I had no background in programming and only a basic understanding of computer science. What I found at PSUT, however, was a community of exceptional faculty and supportive peers who challenged me to grow beyond what I thought was possible. Through years of learning, perseverance, and hands-on experiences, I gained not only technical knowledge but also valuable lessons in leadership, teamwork, and service. Whether through leading the Cybersecurity Club, representing the university in competitions, or contributing beyond the required community service hours, PSUT helped shape both my professional and personal development. Looking back, I am deeply grateful for the trust, opportunities, and support that defined my journey and helped me become the person I am today. As I prepare to graduate from PSUT, I am reminded that some of life’s most valuable lessons are not found in textbooks, but in the people, experiences, and opportunities that shape us along the way. Over the past four years, PSUT has challenged me to grow, inspired me to dream bigger, and given me the confidence to pursue my ambitions. The support of its faculty, staff, and vibrant community has made this journey truly transformative. I leave not only with a degree, but with a strong foundation, lifelong memories, and a deep appreciation for a university that has helped shape my future. There are few things more challenging and more rewarding than pursuing a graduate degree while raising a young family. During my master’s journey at PSUT, there were days when my daughter accompanied me to campus, a reminder of the balance I was striving to achieve between motherhood and my academic ambitions. What made that journey possible was the remarkable support and understanding I found at PSUT. The university fostered an environment where I felt encouraged to continue pursuing my goals, while opportunities such as serving as a Teaching Assistant helped me develop valuable academic and professional skills. More than anything, PSUT gave me a community that believed in my potential, supported me through every challenge, and empowered me to succeed both as a student and as a mother. Few institutions have shaped my life as profoundly as Princess Sumaya University for Technology. What began as an undergraduate journey in Computer Science evolved into a lifelong relationship with a university that continuously challenged me to grow, excel, and pursue new opportunities. From graduating first in my class to building a career in technology and project management, and later earning both my Master’s and Ph.D. from PSUT, every stage of my professional and academic journey has been influenced by the foundation the university provided. Today, I have the privilege of returning to PSUT as a faculty member, helping guide the next generation of students. It is a meaningful way to give back to an institution that invested so much in my potential. PSUT did more than educate me; it opened doors, shaped my ambitions, and inspired a lifelong commitment to learning, research, and service. My studies at Princess Sumaya University for Technology enriched me both academically and personally. Beyond learning from outstanding faculty members, my experience helped me develop essential life skills in leadership, organization, and public speaking. During my years at PSUT, I served as President of the Student Council and the ACM Club, received the Future Nobel Laureates Scholarship, and was selected for the Qimam Fellowship for Emerging Leaders. These experiences played a significant role in shaping who I am today. Being a part of Princess Sumaya University for Technology has been a life-changing experience for me. As a high-achieving student, receiving a scholarship motivated me to strive for excellence and achieve more throughout my academic journey. Beyond academics, the university has played a significant role in shaping my personality, helping me become more confident while strengthening my interpersonal and communication skills. Through PSUT, I have had the opportunity to participate in multiple prestigious competitions, which have enhanced my analytical and professional abilities. In addition, I have been exposed to valuable career opportunities and built a strong professional network that has opened many doors for me and will continue to support my future endeavors. My experience at Princess Sumaya University for Technology has been about much more than earning a degree. Through my involvement in student clubs, campus activities, and supporting fellow students who may be struggling in certain subjects, I have found a strong sense of community and purpose. Some of the most rewarding moments of my journey have come from sharing knowledge, learning from others, and contributing to an environment where students help one another succeed. PSUT has shown me that growth is not only about personal achievement, but also about the impact we have on those around us. I am grateful to be part of a community that encourages collaboration, leadership, and giving back.
